KŌINImemo is built so that we hold nothing of yours. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no server operated by us. The app runs on your device and talks directly to public blockchain networks.
Nothing. We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data. The app contains no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no crash reporters that send data to us or to anyone else.
These exist only in the app's local storage on your device and are deleted when you delete the app.
Memos are written to public blockchains. A memo's sender address, recipient address, category, reference fields, timing and transaction details are permanently public and visible to anyone, through this app or any block explorer. This is how blockchains work and cannot be undone. If you choose to encrypt a memo's notes, the encrypted text is public but unreadable without the key; encryption happens entirely on your device, and we never see or hold keys or passphrases.
To read and write memos, the app sends requests to public blockchain RPC endpoints (such as those operated by RPC infrastructure providers, or any custom endpoint you configure in Settings). Those requests necessarily include the addresses being queried and the transactions being submitted, as with any blockchain application. Your wallet app handles all signing; we never see your private keys.
